:o

Normally when I get up on Monday morning the old member challenge has been voted on and up on the front page (which it is) and the new one is in the challenge list (which it isn't).

Is there to be a members' challenge this week? Am I impatient?

Here's Abstract Macro 1, which was only last March.

Yaay! This is a good excuse to play with my new macro lens.

It's interesting that the description for the challenge and the AM1 challenge is "Take a picture so close up to something that it cannot easily be identified at first glance", but quite a few of the top photos in AM1 were fairly easily identifiable. So I guess it's more about making a colourful image than sticking to the description.

Should be fun.

Isnt that normal for DPC? Seems meeting the challenge isnt near as important as the fluff is. :-)

"At first glance." That doesn't mean it has to be totally unidentifiable - just something that wil make you look longer before saying, "Oh, that's what it is! ... I think." ;>þ
