My parents and I went to the NM state fair this weekend - I entered 3 of my photos, and did better than any year before this;
This one got a blue ribbon, best of show and judge's choice (sweet!)
And this one got a blue ribbon, while the next one got an honorable mention:
Here's the cat photo with its ribbons:
I ordered a 16x20 of the cat and I'm going to display it at a local art show in
Oct. along with some of my other ones, through a local photography club.
OK, well I'm done bragging... if you see one of 'em in Best of 2006, give it a 10 ;p |

WooHoo!!! Way to go Jon!!!
That is excellent....Those Judges Choice ribbons are few and far between not to mention the Best of Show ribbons. So happy you entered since the State Fair has a rather weak representation from the NW corner of our state and we have some very fine photographers in it. (I forgot about it for the first time in 7 years!)
