I have Photoshop 7.01 on my computer and the CD for CS2. Is it a completely different upload, or does it read what I already have and in essence "fill in the blanks?" I'm hoping it's the later, so I don't have to transfer all the downloaded filters, actions, etc.

It installs in a different directory and doesn't import any of your filters, saved settings or anything.

You'll have to do all that manually. You'll probably want to uninstall PS 7 eventually too.

I got rid of PS7 and then installed CS2. I always backup all the filters/brushes etc, so I just had to copy them into the new folders and I was ready.

That's what I thought. Thanks, Leroy. I'll do that. I assume that I can open the actions and filters and do a cut and paste though, right?? Oh, you answered my question as I was repying. ha ha THANKS
