This is an absolutely amazing thread and has been a wonderful learning time. I've only made it 1/2 the way through... had to take a break because of work and home life. I'd still like to finish and comment on your great work. I hope those of you who have finished will come back and check out the work of the slower/late start members.
Now I have lots of ideas to copy... oops, use for inspiration.
Very impressive.

I commend all of you who stuck it out for the entire 30 days (or who will be completing it shortly) as well as those who popped in and out throughout the month to share with us a bit of yourselves.
I think I ran out of steam when I went out of town last weekend, but I'm determined to pick it up again and finish what I started. That goes for both the photos and the comments.
It's been great seeing many of you improve, both in technique and processing, and the sharing and support exibited over the last month has been awesome, and the main reason why I consider DPC my online home.
Great job everyone! :D |

I second or third or whatever it is Mike as Most Improved and think we ought to come up with some sort of award.
Can someone tell me a reasonably non-time-consuming way to do a composite? I'm thinking of putting together a composite or two of my favorites from the rest of you. |

Not that I necessarily agree with y'all...but if I'm the only one not in agreement and an award is what you want to do, I'll gladly accept cash or a camera ;P.
On a serious note, I couldn't have done anything without everyone's help. Everyone here was amazing and everyone grew and learned.

I just gotta say Thank you guys.. you truly are the most amazing people ever.. I have learnt more in 30 days then I have the past 4 months... I've only been doing photography 8 months... Thank you once again for the wonderful learning experience you shared with so many others.

same here. have only been shooting 7 months and this challenege was enlightening on several levels. one being that i know now photography should stay organic for me. when i forced a shot it wasnt as good and I lost interest in the dpc challenges too. |

Ive had the extra month advantage >.> lol Ive only had my fuji since July before that I was borrowing peoples cameras cos my el cheapo P and S decided to die

| Well crystal and I have both had many cameras before including film SLRs and crystal had her own darkroom at one point (which she used more to make cool prints than to develop photos) but we didn't really try to know what we were doing till recently. This site and the people here have helped so much on that front. |
