Hmmmm. Good point. Maybe better to just remove the lugnuts altogether and the wheels too. Leave the car sitting on the brakes without wheels and toss the lugnuts in the garbage. |
Yep, stranding someone at the train station with thousands of dollars worth of damage to the drive train really sounds like a "proportionate response" for your inconvence ... if they're truly illegally parked, then call the police and have them ticketed/towed/booted. If not, then just find another parking place and holster the six-gun ... |
Who said the response needed to be proportionate? As far as I'm concerned, if you park like that, you deserve to come back and find your car stolen to be found later stripped and on fire in an vacant lot.
In reality, removing the wheels would take far too much time. Better just to decorate it with an unwanted sticker or twelve. Maybe remove the valve stems too.
