I am wanting to do a little video screen capture.
Does anyone have a sudjestion of what software to use on a PC running windows. Can I do it in windows movie maker somehow?

This functionality is usually built right into your viewer.

in the viewer? what viewer?

I am wanting to, for example, record what I do in photoshop to create a little tutorial.

.

If you use Microsoft Office on a PC, you can download "Producer" from Microsoft.

Don't be misled by the name "Producer for Powerpoint". You don't need to use Powerpoint to record screen actions. I've used it to demo software applications that I have programmed. It has screen recording features, complete with audio so you can narrate as you move along the screen.

You can save the results in a video file (.wmv) or have it create a web page for you, complete with play, rewind, ffwd, buttons.

Did I mention that it is FREE? Yes, it's a free download.

That's a little more clear. From your first post it sounded like you wanted to grab screen captures from a video you were watching.

Camtasia Studio works great. It's what we use in our office here. You can add audio narration, and convert to many kinds of files (including flash).
(It's not free, though - so if you don't wanna spend money, Microsoft's Producer might work better)
