Is it possible to remove glare from glasses? |

A polarizer might do the trick... :) |

How about after touch-ups. I normally have the subject at an angle so the light doesn't reflect, but this time I didn't and it's a great shot. I really don't want to toss it out. Do you know how to remove in any programs?

The only things I can think of to do in post, would be to either carefully burn the area or perhaps clone it out using surrounding (unaffected) areas. I'm not sure if there are any specific programs that will remove it for you though, sorry... |

Open the image, right click the image, click "copy image location", and post that here.

... and the picture has to be posted on the internet somewhere. If it's just on your computer it won't work. |

Here it is:

It's not "too big" anyway, I just resized it easily. The big one is better for working on :-)

I'm actually not very good at fixing these nit-picky issues like glare over complex surfaces, but here's a quick-and-dirty shot at it to show you it's definitely possible in Photoshop with the healing brush tool:

You're doing very well at this :-) Now see if you can get rid of the vertical bright line on the left eye (rightmost in the picture) and tone down the glare on the rims of the glasses.

Coming along pretty good. I notice you have a catchlight in one eye and not the other, that's a little odd. Be good to recover the missing catchlight. But your skillz are evolving :-)

there's some good spotting going on here. we done. there are two ways to avoid having to do it. either use lensless glasses (either get your subject to bring an old pair, or pop the lenses out of their own), or very slightly tilt the glasses on the face. this will get rid of some of the glare, and if you tilt very carefully, there should be no distortion.
