Hi All
I am organising my portfolio structure into sub collections but what would be good is to keep all the imgaes as a master portfolio and copy them as appropriate into the sub collections e.g. portraits, landscapes etc.
However, apart from uploading them twice into the individual folders I can not see another way of doing!
What I am hoping for is a copy function in the portfoloio management area?
Hmmmm!!!! I suppose by having copies the available HHD space would fill up just a little too quick. Looks like I need to treat the sub collections as more for pictures I feel most show that catagory to best effect - what do others do?
:~)

Assuming you have created additional folders by going to your portfolio page and selecting 'new collection' listed under collection options, you would then choose the photo to move by checking the box under it and then click on 'move selected' from the Selected Image Options. At this time, a drop-down menu should appear with a list of your folders. Just choose the folder to which you would like your selected photo to appear and then click on the 'Move Selected' button. Voila! Your photo should then be moved to the desired folder.

Hi kavamama
Yes, I have found the move function AOK.
I was more thinking about about a copy function where there is your main portfolio where all images are viewable. And a way to copy selected images into named folders - please note I say copy not move.
But as I say
"Hmmmm!!!! I suppose by having copies the available HHD space would fill up just a little too quick. Looks like I need to treat the sub collections as more for pictures I feel most show that catagory to best effect - what do others do?"
Thanks again for the pointer.
