I've just been asked to do some photographs for a taxidermist. Looks like tonight's selections will be a deer head, some fish, and a detailed diorama of a porcupine and fisher.

Looking for suggestions for angles, backdrops, and lighting. I have two 300W day-light balanced hot-lights and one SB-800 flash (with off-camera cable as well). I have a white paper photographic backdrop (no stand though...) and a ridiculous amount of black velvet (pure black backgrounds). Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.
