These are my nieces. They came over to my house to get their pictures done today. I had a lot of fun with all of them. Which of them do you think are the best?

P.S.
None of these are edited yet. They have been converted from raw and then downsized for web and a border added to the image.
By the way, ignore the frame... when printed, obviously the frame won't be there. This was just a quick way to resize the images and to post the camera settings on each of the pictures (without having to go into the DPC settings for each image).

Perhaps there are too many pictures?
Or hopefully it's just that I posted too late last night for anyone to notice the thread. So here's a nice little bump for the morning crew (assuming anyone is up this early on a Sunday morning!).

Left you a few comments. They all look good. Hard to believe they are SOOC. Your lighting rocks.

They are lovely clear shots and are great if really SOOC!
I really don't like the faded edges on them though, not at all... You say the border would not form part of the prints, perhaps the fade won't be there either?
I also prefer shots of kids that are more candid. These look too staged for my liking and don't seem capture the kids real personalities.
I'm not trying to be negative, just offering feedback based on my tastes...

Yup, minor tweaking in the raw converter is all. That and the automatic frame generation (and yes, the fade is part of that particular frame). It's handy just because it puts the EXIF data right where you can easily see it and I don't have to enter it by hand. If DPC would accept EXIF data out of the image and populate the fields for me, then I probably wouldn't use the frame.

You're fine, I'm asking for honest feedback. Yours may be the most honest yet. :-)
The parents wanted a "studio setup" rather than out doors where it would have been more candid. (I offered an outdoor shoot twice and they declined it both times) So yeah... being in studio it will look staged. But the advantage is that I can control the light so much better.
I still think I managed to capture some genuine expressions from the kids. Especially with the umbrella shots.
