Plesae ppl sorry to bug u all again. I have a request. I am sure many of u here have both a 20" widescreen and 17"(4:3) LCD monitors.
Please if anyone of u could take a photo of these two panels side by side..i would be really grateful (as i want to see the size difference between the two. Or even better 20" widescreen against a 17"CRT.
I tried a lot to find a such a photo on the NET (google and all) but couldnt fond any. I know ppl here have had a lot of different monitors. SO please if somone can do this for me, it would relly help me out a LOT.

From Google. 20" widescreen versus 17" CRT
If you debate this purchase for much longer LCD technology will be obsolete.... ;-) |

| I had a 19" CRT and just recently got my Dell 20" widescreen. I haven't really noticed the missing height, but I really do notice the added width, so I think it was well worth it. Of course that's just my opinion, but if you've only got a 17" right now, I don't think you'd lose too much height really. Good luck with your decision! |

17" CRT 1600x1200px
20" widescreen TFT 1680x1050
i'd say its more about the res than the size.. |
