Hi there,

I just bought two UV filters for my 18-200MM Nikon Lens. One is the more expensive HOYA Pro1 Digital Filter and the other is the HOYA HMC Multi-coated filter. Both are multi-coated, so I am presuming that both will work very well.

I have already opened the cheap one (about $40) and can't return it. However, I have the Pro1 unopened and could return it (about $65). What are your thoughts. Should I keep the cheap one and return the expensive one or should I open the more expensive one and use it because it is that much better and save the cheaper one for a back up or sell it on ebay?

Thanks for the help.

-Jeremy
