I have a Canon 50mm F1.8 II sat in my camera bag, and it has honestly only taken about 20 photo's. I bought the lense at the same time as my 17-40mm L lense and have hardly ever taken this beauty off since.
So, should I just sell the 50mm? I know its got a great reputation and it supposed to be a superb lense (thats why I bought it), but I really don't know when I will ever use it.
The only reason I can think of keeping it is because I have a gap in my focal length coverage (I go from the 40mm end of my baby to the 70mm end of my 70-200mm), but is this reason enough?
I have seen the 50mm go for around £60 with postage, which I could use to go toward the Canon 580 flash I want to buy |

I am interested in buying it if you do decide to sell.
Edit: nevermind, I noticed you are from the UK and shipping would not be to my advantage.
And to add any info, just ask yourself will I actually need it? I am in the market for a fast lens because I sometimes shoot dark indoor music gigs. But, it's all up to you.
