I've seen many variations on the theme of looking over one end of a canoe toward a landscape, typically with angles that match those of the canoe.
I figure this must be a theme that someone famous started.
Anyone know? |

i think anyone who canoes is struck by the beauty of the boat, and beauty of nature around it. it's probably just one of those archetypes that come from seeing such compostionally perfect things.
