Hi, I finally got a membership here and uploaded all of the photos I could find so far!
I was wondering if anyone could just look around my portfolio and leave suggestions and comments.
I really want to learn and since I haven't been doing so well on the challenges I was just wanting to see how my average shots faired.

Hi Monica,
Welcome to memberhood. :-) I left you a comment on one of your portraits. Based on the photos in your portfolio, it seems like you enjoy portraits most of all. You seem to have an eye for them, just be sure to watch your backgrounds and exposures. Use Depth of field to your advantage to blur backgrounds and such and add some dimension and depth. Other than that, just keep plugging away and having fun. |

I tend to agree with jenesis on the background..
But.. I guess the collection is more of a snapshot-candid style..

Hi Monica,
I'm pretty new here myself so I don'tknow how helpful I can be but I left a couple of comments on two portraits. I don't really have anything to add to what's already been said but it does seem like you have a pretty good handle on the poses in your portraits. I always have trouble myself. I would love it if you would look at my portfolio and tell me what you think. I've got a "comments" thread going in this same forum. |
