I recently attended an exhibition at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art: Lost and Found: Japanese American Photographs from the Dennis Reed Collection. It's not a large exhibition, but it's worth seeing for the quality of the printing if nothing else. The pictures are all pre-WWII and their delicacy has really made me stop and reconsider my own look. If you're interested here's the link:

There is also a huge exhibition of contemporary Chinese video and photography. It's interesting but pretty "in your face".

It's a good way to spend the afternoon and improve your mind. 8)
