Copyright info-
I use PS7 to add copyright data to the file info of each photo (please, I know someone could edit but I really don't wanna hear someone else say, "But someone could edit that." so please just don't waste your time writing it).
I created an action that puts all my info into the file info and saves the file but everytime I get the dialog box that asks how much compression I want to save the file with. I always choose level 12 (best image/lowest compression) but when I want to automate this action for 1500 photos, I have to manually hit the enter key 1500 times. Anyone have a workaround or is there some scripting thing I've missed? I've tried just saving over the original and then I tried saving into a different directory.
Thumbnail info-
Likewise, I want to make thumbnails of all the images from a photoshoot so that I can provide some cutdown images to the models for their perusal via the web (so that they can select which photos they want printed for their TFP compensation). I still have to hit the Enter key one time for each photo I resize and save. Anyone have any help on this front?
Thanks for the useful comments and attempts,
Kevin

Are you on a Mac or PC?
I thought you can record your own "Action sequence" using one of the files, including hitting the Enter key, so that subsequently using the "Batch" menu item to apply the action will include all the necessary steps. Make sure you action includes a step to either re-name or re-locate the new file so you don't overwrite your originals.
If you're on a Mac there is/was one or two utilities (OK! OK! OK! was one) which could be programmed to trip the Enter key for you. I'd suggest searching at //cnet.com for something like that. |

Nope. I haven't had any luck with getting PS7 to accept either a mouse click on the OK button or hitting the Enter key to complete this process.

It is about setting or not modal control (via a little dialog icon in a column on the actions listbox).
For a full explanation look the page: "Setting modal controls" in PS7 help.
