I just got my 30D today. I made sure I had all the settings as far as format type, ntsc, sRGB and all that stuff correct. I went out took some shots, and when I came home and tried opening them with the card reader and CS2 - I get told that it's the wrong document type and my request cannot be completed. I can open the RAW files in the Canon software, but I dont care for their software at all! I even tried reformatting the cf card and shooting more shots. Still wont open the RAWs in CS2.
I have no problem opening images shot in RAW from the 20D.
Anyone got any clues? I've tried 2 different CF Cards now.

Thanks Steve - sure enough they have an update for the 30D. I'm downloading it now and will see if it fixes the problem.

PSPX and Raw Shooter Essentials so far as I know are not yet able to read the 30D RAW files, much to my annoyance. I think CS2 can, but I left my budget for that in my other pants...

It's annoying, and has added to a great deal of frustration to my workflow... that reminds me, need to take a peak at Corel's website. Thanks for reminding me.

Not a prob. I had that issue when I got my Fuji S5000 and then again with the D50. Wiht the Fuji, I knew little about PS and it took a friend to do it for me. Now, new camera means new update, LOL.
