Hello,
How do you shoot your back and whites ? Do you do it it Photoshop or use a setting on your camera ?

Shoot RAW then process to BW later using channel mixer, selective color, and curves. |

Similar to routerguy666, I shoot raw. However, for b&w conversion, I usually use two methods: 1) at the raw conversion stage, just to see if I happen to prefer an image as a b&w, I'll simply desat in RawShooter Premium and play with the contrasts a bit, these get posted as proofs. 2) For actual prints, I prefer to redo my b&w conversion by reconverting the image as a color image, then using two hue/sat layers. The top layer is set to 0% saturation. The 2nd layer is put into color blend mode. Then I play with the various hue/sat settings on each of the channels.
