Hmmz... just noticed, but in photoshop, when i'm working on a file, it looks one way. But then when i save for web (i.e. for dpchallenge) it looks slightly different. Yes, i know its taken me ages to notice :P

But one thing i did notice, is that if i tick the "proof colours" menu options (which is set to windows rgb), then i can see a preview which looks somewhat like what the jpegs i get look like...

Is this normal? does this mean i'm working in a wrong colourspace? or am i just plain stupid and not getting something?

thanks

I'd guess it's working in Adobe RGB and doing an implied conversion to "normal" RGB when you save.

It tells you in the title what colour space is used doesn't it?

in Photoshop - Edit - Convert to Profile - sRGB & save for the web :)

web only supports 1 colour space - sRGB
