A long time ago, I gave up trying to evangalize for the Mac. Trying to convince PC owners of "the obvious" is a worthless and exhausting task. Life's too short.
The current Apple computer ads on TV speak for themselves. I think they hit a very sensitive nerve.
In a competition, I'd prefer all of my competitors had PC's. |

Do we really have to turn this into a MAC vs. PC thread?
I mean she just asked for help and people start chiming in for her to spend her hard earned money and buy a damn mac. It is the same sickness with Canon vs. Nikon. She has decided PC and needs help. Telling her to buy a Mac doesn't help shit.

Well, I own a Mac and PC and use them both. They both have their pro's and cons.
Cindi-
I would take Leroy's advice. However, don't use any registry cleaners when your back up and running. Download the two spyware remover's I recommended earlier in this thread and Norton Antivirus. Keep your windows updates up to date. Turn on System Restore (assuming you have Win XP) Acutally it's deafaulted to "on" you may be able to restore your pc back to the Orig. Date it was purchased without having to re-install everything. Check it out.. go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST on to an external storage device before giving it a try.
