50 Days is my occasional marathon PaD project. It started off when my then boyfriend, a photographer, left me behind last Winter to go to Asia for fifty days to take photos.
I decided that I could take fifty days worth of photos too (and also use it as a sort of countdown until he returned). I determined early on that there was no mandatory theme and that it didn't have to be art, but the sum total would represent a slice of Becky's Life in Colorado. It spanned the contents of my refrigerator to Thanksgiving with the family. It was a brilliant success with my friends and family, who clamored for another run.
The boyfriend dumped me, but the idea lived on and the second edition appeared last Spring.
And then I joined DPC.
Now I'm starting Fall 2006 tomorrow, knowing that in the next fifty days I will photograph the changing leaves, the first snowfall, the marriage of some friends, my 31st birthday, a friend's visit, the exploration of my return to the college experience after a nine year absence, and a myriad of things I cannot possibly at this point predict. My skills have grown considerably since Spring 2006, and I am curious to see what I am able to pull out of my hat this time.
This is your invitation to either join me with your own 50 Days projects - I will link to yours from my grid page if you do - or become a spectator. No pressure to start tomorrow as I am going to do since I understand that setting up the template may take some preparation. But do start soon, and when you do, if you do, please send me the link.

Nice, I like that one. You need a comment section. (or I'm dumb and I missed it.)

My coding skills aren't that sophisticated, unfortunately. All my HTMLing is done with the same code I learned in 1994.

The bloggish aspect of it probably explains why so many of my photographer's comments here read like the do, of my adventures in getting the photo or whatever occurs to me at the time.
