You want to see some QUALITY comments?!?!?!?!

Maybe you have already been graced by the comments of C Novack, but if you haven't yet, then you ought to visit her profile page and click on her comments made!!!

I just finished reading the comments that she left on my Free Study XII and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the comment. I wondered if I just got lucky and that she just happened to have some extra time on her hands when she came across my entry. But when I clicked on her comments made tab on her profile, I was amazed!

She has been registered since one year ago yesterday and has made 435 comments, 400 of them have been marked as helpful. If you read them you'll see why. There isn't any of this "nice capture" stuff, she is thorough.

When I have the time, I plan on reading through as many of them as I can. I'm sure that I'll learn a lot by doing so.

Thank you C. Novack for taking the time to make these wonderful contributions to DPChallenge.

lol. I try to critique and all when I feel something stands out to critique. I feel dumb now though. great capture's in my repetoire. lol. I just read through the first two pages of comments given in her profile and youre not kidding. she seems to know crazy details about so many things too. she must be the trivia queen.

I use 'nice capture' sometimes, and maybe she does too, but she qualifies that statement and doesn't just leave it at that.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate any positive criticism and especially praise, but nothing is better that a wordy, intelligent, well informed critic.

What I just can't believe is some of the users didn't mark the comments as useful, when they are so great...

It's because of people like C Novack that DPC is so great.

Go on, please.

I have to agree...she left an amazing detailed paragraph for my free study shot...I mean, with nearly 700 entries to get through, that's a really special thing to do...wow

Does every comment have to be critical of your work? I enjoy the comments that say Nice Picture or Great Lighting just as much as I enjoy the more detailed comments that break things down into a science I myself do not quite understand yet as I am still far from being a professional photographer. For that very Reason you will get comments from me like Nice Capture or Great Shot, I do not know much more than that so I can not tell you your photo sucks because the white balance was off by 1 step and the green is oversaturated the red is too bright etc etc,,, all I can do is say hey that is a nice picture and live by the rule my mother taught me. If you can't find something nice to say, Then Don't say anything..

Keep in mind that the majority of people on this site are hobbiest Not Pros so getting quality professional comments from everyone is asking for a bit much.
