After living in a boring thrift store for a while, one of my new duckies was eager to get out and see the sights, so I tucked him into my bag and took him to the park.
When he saw a flock of Canada geese napping in the shade he was eager to meet them, but once they were all around him and he realised how BIG they were he got a little nervous.
They accepted him graciously though, and he enjoyed his visit until he was accidentally stepped on. He decided then that he'd had enough excitement for his first day out and chose to spend the remainder of the afternoon resting in my bag.
(yes, I know they're just snapshots ;) )
edited cuz I kan't spel

There was a photographer who took little sheep minis everywhere he went to shoot. I remember a picture of the sheep in Paris. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Well, your ducky reminds me of that. It could become your trademark!

I've seen a few, using various figures :)
Of course ducky came home and bragged to the others about his day and now they're all jealous and clamouring for their turn. Maybe I'll have to arrange a ducky picnic so they can all go at once and have it done with? My everyday camera bag's not big enough for the yellow horde! |

Ha! Those are great. Maybe I should take my duckie to Kenya with me?
I was in NYC in April and ran into this girl carrying a pink flamingo around (plastic, not real lol). Turns out she wsa a journalism student at NYU that was taking a photography class and her lab partner dropped that class leaveing her without a partner for the assignments, to photograph different locations around the city. To get the credit she had to have something common in every image, PINK FLAMINGO!

That might look suspicious to security or the questions you get from security could prove to be embarrassing. ;o) |

For ducky's first outing he wanted to visit some of his cousins but found it a little intimidating. After he got stepped on he decided that that was enough for one day!
That was hilarious. It made my week :)

Just make sure to squeeze all the water out if you take them in the tub, or you'd have them confiscated for containing liquid! |

Very sweet - ducky sure made me smile! We should have a club for our duckies and woodies and take them out more often. Thanks for the entertainment and the inspiration. |

Duckies are MUCH lighter and easier to pack though, and will entertain you for endless hours. Be warned; one thing they do NOT like is to see you eating quackers with your soup.
(Sorry, it just slipped out....) |

The last time I saw a flock of Canada Geese, I was stepping high, very high, to avoid stepping on/in their ... er ... never mind. I do hope your new, young ducky didn't learn any new tricks and only got stepped on, not, ah, dropped on.
Cute shots, BeeCee.
Wanna see some more.
When my ducky gets out of Reform School, maybe they can visit and play together. |

Lol, yup, I had to check carefully before I sat down. They leave HUGE... messes! The geese behaved themselves though, and I haven't seen any little gifties from ducky, so all is good... so far... :)
But.... Reform School... I'm not sure I want my innocent exposed to that? ;) |

Oh, BeeCee, I don't know how to tell you this. But some duckies have History.
You see, I introduced my slightly annoyed ducky
to the community a few days ago.
He met some new friends:
I though he was on his way to becoming a happy little ducky.
But, then what happened! Can this massacre explained!
Horrified, of course I sent him off to reform school:
But, recent developments make me think he has reformed in
the wrong direction!
Do you think your innocent little ducky would be the saving of him? |

Intervention is certainly called for, lest you be forced to make your ducky into an outcast, a pariah, sundered from the bosom of his family to face the cruel world alone, or with his mismated woodie at least...

Oh,the horror of it.
And yes, BeeCee, I can see why you would shelter your little innocent one from all this mahem. |
