New Logo/Saying for church youth group

For my Youth group at church. I took a few pictures and ahve been for the last few weeeks. I love it!! there are people worshiping God and siging and some shot of the youth band. I have not up loaded anythign yet but i will. I love taking these kinds of pictures. But any ways this is the new saying that the Youth is kinda posting every were. So i took to pictures and this is what i got.... I put info on the pictue so there is kind of a back ground of what its all about.

Mainly all it is is that we are asking the Youth and kids and Collage age that come to Try to give God one year of your life and see what happens. So its "One year of your life....One Week at a time".

Tell me what you think... On the pictue and of the concept.... Thanks for listening

Personaly, I don't get the message. It doesn't pop out to me what you are trying to say.

The image looks grungey least the hand does to me, and really don't understand the message.

I guess if there is other text or whatn't that explains it... but I wouldn't give this two looks.

Other than that... I think it is a nice image, and if there was something else on the card... or something that tied it in.. Maybe holding up a ticket or something..

One year of your life one day at a time might better convey the message of living your life with attention to what you are doing each day. As far as the photo, it's not bad but that card could be reworked to look a bit better.

The concept is great as far as the message the youth group is trying to get out there. What I'm not following is what are you going to do with the image you've posted? Is this going to be a flyer to distribute or post around campus?

You mention photos of the youth band - is that what's going on in the background image? Looks like they're in a gym. Do you have any images that show people with the band, maybe even some religious symbolism (cross on the wall, etc...).

The image/card/flyer is slim on context IMO. The positive spin I can put on it is it looks like youth enjoying themselves overall, which is good.
