I just finished setting up my new D200 I put my Tamron SP200-500 lens on it to see how heavy it will be. WOW what a tank. But It balances very nice compared to the D-50 which I think that lens was too heavy for.
I really love the D200 It is built very solid makes my D-50 seem like a toy now. (well a smaller toy, Now I have a big fat tank of a toy). I am charging up some batteries right now then I am going shooting with it. Have to have a browse through the manual first it has more buttons than I am used to. Big learning curve compared to my D50.

You are going to love the D200. I got a chance to shoot with one a few weeks back. Feels as good as the D2x and is very fast and responsive.
Produces incredible 8x10's at 300 dpi. |
