I've always wanted to try one of the Foveon sensors. Seems to be a superior technology to the bayer filter garbage. I've seen some pics from existing Sigma cameras that have colors and details that simply don't exist in other sensors. That being said, I hate teaser ads. Nikon is even worse than Sigma. Now...... if Sigma will make the body accept Nikon Fmount lens I'll think about buying one.

Now that's an idea that got my attention. I ordered a D80 as soon as it was advertised on Adorama but I would consider this option instead.
The SD10 was what got me into researching for my first DSLR in the first place. I chose the D70 instead, but I would definintely be interested in seeing what the SD14 would be like if it could make use of my quiver of lenses. |

anyone know where you can actually buy a sigma camera? all the places they list on their site only have lenses.

| since I believe the SD9 and SD10 are out of production, you might have to buy it used, or off ebay. |

VERY interesting!
I've been wishing for something like this for a while. A 1.5x crop 8megapixel Foveon will SHRED a 10MP bayer sensor for accuracy.
of course I'm on the library computer so I didn't get to see the whole flash presentation, just the intro page. Will visit DPReview.com right away!

Wow! Those example images sent chills down my spine! I can't wait for it to come out!
...Even though I still love my D200. Dammit, now you've made me less content with my Nikon. Thanks a lot pal. |

If you get that Sigma, feel free to give your Nikon to me, since you won't be needing it. :p |
