I noticed over the weekend a carpenter bee resting in a flowering weed near sunset. Took a number of shots, high ISO unfortunately but caught the setting sun in the bees eye. I wondered if she'd overnight in the bush and sure enough there she was at the same spot the next morning. So if you're looking for slow moving bees to photograph this might be a strategy.

I really like the drops of water on the bee's eye and antenna...
