I am finally going to enter the world of DSLR's. I have to admit this thread was the final straw. When I read it I knew the balance of power had shifted and I must act. I grabbed my credit card and headed for the computer. When my wife realized what I was doing she tried her best to stop me. I managed to hold her off long enough to get that magical "place order" button clicked. Oh sure I may be sleeping on the couch for the next few months, but I will soon be holding in my hands a Pentax K100. Armed with my suite of Pentax lenses I will be unstoppable. Assuming I can find time to get some shooting in.
Actually, the real reason is that I've had a few opportunities coming my lately and the time lag between shooting and printing was killing me.

Enjoy the camera. Oh, and the couch isn't sooo bad, especailly when you have a new toy to cuddle with. :-)

True. Just be careful not to drool on it in your sleep. They tend to short out when that happens;) |
