Well, a photographer here (in AZ) is selling a 10D and I could really really use it, as I have no backup to speak of! I'm leary of buying used but I really don't have the $$ to buy a new one! So as I e-mailed her, I realized I really don't know what questions to ask.

All I came up with is how many clicks are taken with it- but I don't even know what a good answer would be!!! :0P
So here are my questions so far. Please add to my list if you can and any advice is very welcome! THANK YOU!!!

- how many clicks?
- has is had any lockups before?
- original paperwork available?

Have you ever bought used? How was you experience???

Bought used plenty of times. Never a camera though. I have 4 lenses that are used. As long as you buy from a reputable person you should be fine.

How much is she wanting for the 10D?

$495. Pretty decent price if you ask me. She says it's in great condition and I do know where she lives!!! LOL

- Ever repaired? If so for what?
- Are there any issues that the current owner is aware of? Ya gotta ask, 'cause if you don't, well, you didn't ask!
- Are original purchase documents and/or original packaging available?
- Are there any extended warranties (like Mack) in effect?
- What accessories are included? Should include major items that were in the original box, unless otherwise agreed upon.

On the shutter actuations question, under 10k would be a good number; it will probably be higher than this. If it's higher than about 25k there should be some discount to offset.
