A few months back I made the weighty purchase of sensor cleaner/swabs ... this was 60$ or so if I remember correctly. Anyway, somehow I misplaced this stuff and i'm looking for a cheaper replacement just to get some stuff off my sensor.
I was perusing BH photo and came up with this:
Quik Stik
It seems like a cheap and handy replacement but since the sensor is so fragile/ important/etc. etc. i was hoping to get a 2nd opinion. |

hrmm...I think I'd use that on my lens but I wouldn't stick that thing in my camera. Have you tried a blower or a vacuum? I know everyone's afraid to try tape.

It looks like those aren't meant to be used on a sensor
ΓΆ€ΒΆ They are excellent for non-critical cleaning applications, such as computer keyboards, cd's, loupes, telescopic eyepieces, etc.

Don't be embarassed...how were you supposed to know? At least you asked before you tried it.
