Ah, you're welcome. It's pretty well died down, it seems. Maybe after my Oregon trip I'll start another one up, early September/mid September, if there's a desire for it.

Bear, from one chef to another :)
I would love to hear some of your insight on food photography...I recall reading that you didn't exactly love it, but I have no doubt you have a wealth of knowledge there... |

Just this morning I was trying to get clarification on one of the current submission choices and looking through an old thread Bear Music had once again written his magic and all came clear for me.
I am consistently impressed with his commitment to teaching and helping the folks on this site.
Bear, a thousand thank-you's. |

Robert has a propensity to make himself understood. Uses the english language with a flair and often his observations are very cutting with overtones of great advise and wisdom! It is always a pleasure conversing with him or observing him explain the obtuse or that which is evasive. A very logical and pragmatic thinker who is at home both with science, prose and poetry. Indeed, a memorable member here at DPC. |

I'd like to see it continued, or a new one, as well.
I liked the technique explanation that Rikki did in the thread, and of course all the other ones that weren't as much of a tutorial style. Maybe some of the other members would like to share some techniques or anything else related to landscapes, so that you don't have to come up with the exercises as much?
For one, I'd like it if terje could talk a little about processing and anything else he could share. |

Robert, you are my number one fan and mentor, when it comes to landscapes, especially your wonderful seascapes.
What I love about you, is that you do it in such a quiet way, and yet share all your knowledge with us. I think you are by far, a very special person, who give more than he receives.
I thank DPC for bringing you into my life, as you have always supported me when I am down, and always make me look at the positives of life, and what around me.
Thank you so much, not just for me, but for all the people that you have touched, with your genuine knowledge and support. You are one in a million.....

I'm sort of with you on that, actually. I appreciate the kind words, but am not entirely comfortable with them.
