Dynamic range, High ISO performance, DOF control, File size, Viewfinder size and last but not least...Badass factor... |

Uhm yea... Like the fact that you have less DOF in your shots cause of the bigger sensor, wich is THE thing I like best about full frame, also bigger sensor means larger pixles = better image quality and not to mention the bigger viewfinder. Having said that though, there is not really anything you can´t do with the 350D that you can do with a full frame camera so if this means absolutely nothing for you, stay with the crop frame and don´t worry about it ;) |

Yes but not worlds apart, probably about 1 stop if you compare the 20D and the 5D

Yes, just like medium format has shallower DOF than 35mm for instance. |

Much less noise at same ISO. |

If you put a 80mm lens on a full frame you'll get the same field of view as a 50mm on a 1.6x crop. The 80mm will give you shallower DOF than the 50mm, because the focal length is longer. Same reason why a P&S has so much DOF, the focal length is extremely short. |

Yes, but there are some technicalities to note:
Dynamic Range and High ISO performance are controlled by photosite (pixel) size, which is only somewhat related to sensor size. For example, the 1DsII has smaller pixels than the 1DII, but the 1DsII is FF, the 1DII is a 1.3x crop.
File Size is related to the total number of pixels, not sensor size.
Badass factor--Not to start an argument, but does the 5D or 1DMIIn win?

My vote is for the 1D MK2n. Looks bigger and meaner, and that 8.5fps makes it sound like an assault rifle.
Though I wouldn't mind owning either camera :) |
