I took their IQ test and scored a perfect 100 - Guess I really am average. I wonder if that explains my average type scores here? LOL. (If you haven't taken it, it shows the score of 100 with an explanation of "Average" right under it). At least I wasn't deficient.

I just did their IQ test too.

Huh? This from a guy that needs flash cards to tie his shoes?
I think they just want money...

My IQ was 2...

My iq is 129 accroding to this test which I did really quickly; if I'd used all the time available, maybe I could have score, what? 130? ;>þ

Before I got sick I had to take an IQ test at work and scored a 143.

Most days I wouldn't even be able to start that test now. I can't remember my phone number or my age. I look at old code I've written and have no idea what any of it means.

Enjoy it while you have it because it won't last forever.

Did the IQ test, but guessed all the answers. Score was 112.
After that I did a serious test but now I didn't get the score anymore. :(

Did one a couple of years ago and it was 130 plus, I did it in English while my mind is in Dutch. :)

I also did one when I was drunk and scored 140 plus. 8)

Well done Brad

I have just done the test too and got 1 more than you, so why can't I get more ribbons than you (my first would be nice)

Okay, now a serious attempt on another computer, must say it is consistent with another test where I got 134. Must also say that I am still under the influence of some Cuba Libre's from a party this afternoon (four hours ago). :) To be totally honest I answered the questions that were the same as earlier (about four) the same as before.

133

Given the earlier results I think that a monkey can guess himself to average and beyond. :)

I scored 128 on this test. Now I'm convinced that it's defective. Either that or they want my money.

I don't put much faith in IQ tests. I once scored 165 on a standard IQ test.

No, no, no. Photographers are really smart people. That's it. We need to be able to find the right picture in thousands of thumbs, crack our brains on F-stop/shutter combo's, remember locations and poses, guess how much shots are still on the battery, apply a zillion rules and know how to break them all to get the right picture. That's a lot of work for the brain.

I am sure that when someone studies this seriously, that he will find a correlation between IQ and shutter actuations. Seriously.
We should give 12 monkeys a dSLR and a dpc account. Measure their IQ now and after 12 months. No doubt their IQ will have increased by 200%.

If by standard IQ test you mean the one given by a psychologist with little cards to arrange to "tell a story" and how many numbers can you recall in a row and how many backwards, and definitions of words, and spatial relationship questions and it takes about two hours...I'm impressed.

If not...well...I'm not quite as impressed. ;)

Crap, you have to send it in. I just wanted the answer to the first one. It's I right? heheheh

i was given one of those when i complained about the ms robbing me of cognitive function. the psychologist basically said, in his report - she's so high functioning, she can afford to lose some. gee, there's a backhanded compliment... grr. i just thought - hey, you're a doctor, right? you're pretty smart? would you like to be less smart? eh? i don't know what number they assinged my brains on that one...

i'm over it now, but it's still a bit annoying.

and, yes, the ms is still making me less bright. (but i did get 126 on this internet test ;-p)

Hey fir3bird, PM me if you want, I'm 99% sure I know the answer to the first one.

Is anybody else really trying these? I actually enjoy this stuff in a twisted sort of way.

There were 4 I got pretty easily, 7 more I'm pretty sure I could get with some time. That leaves more than 10 I'm either sure not to get, or have to really think about.
