Hey,

I was wondering if anyone knew how well the 1GB compact flash card works with the C5050. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Well,

It works just like any other compact flash card, but it holds a gig or photos.

In other words, F***ING AWESOME. I've never had a problem with it when I was using my school's 5050 over the summer, and the 1 gig is awesome for big trips.

Thanks a lot, Lee.
I read (before buying the 5050) that there were some problems associated with the 1gb CF card. I want to buy it but am weary of spending the big bucks & finding that it doesnt work as well as it should.

I would go with two 512 cards myself. If that 1GB card fails or heaven forbid you lose it or get it stolen, you're out loads of money.
