I have been holding off telling everyone this but then I got to thinking it might just help someone else, I found another benefit to having a DPC membership...

We all know DPC only sales members prints on DPCPrints but I found a very excellent use for the site recently. I was applying for a job which knowing how to use a digital camera was very important. In my coverletter I included the web address for my portfolio. The store manager took the time prior to interviewing me to check it out and was quite impressed with it.

I didn't stop there I took a copy of my personal portfolio with me for the interview and instead of getting the job I was interviewing for I found someone who is helping me with my future. He saw something in my portfolio here and in the hard copy I didn't see and has been introducing me to all the right people.
