Disclaimer: Right up front I'll tell you I have no experince with any of these specific lenses, so take what I say only as general information.
I don't know the Prospec brand, it seems like a 3rd party lens manufactured for the Minolta mount. The fact that it's a 28-200 zoom, rather slow, and rather old does not bode well for optical quality. Older zooms in general are not as good as modern designs, and the wide zoom range implies nast compromises in design.
The others may be decent optically; perhaps someone with more knowledge of the Minolta system can comment. I assume these are not f/2.8 zooms either, but f/3.x to 4.x or 5.x?
If the 80-210 and the 35-70 turn out to be good lenses, then perhaps a 5D or 7D body, which are pretty reasonably priced, could be a good purchase, giving you a very usable system for the cost of a body. If they are mediocre to average quality, forget using them on a modern digital body, you won't be satisfied with the results. |
