I'm not going to be able to make it this time around :( I made last minuet plans to go camping this weekend at Fall Creek Falls. This was the only weekend we had free before it got to cold. Everyone’s invited along, all you need is a camera and a tent :) If not I hope you all have a great night and look forward to your posts. I will miss meeting the new faces.

If you can't make this then please let me of Jenn know so we can take you off the list and don't wait for you. Notify us or not we won't wait long so if you are late you will have to call someone and catch up.

Holy crap. This is the 16th? Can I still get in on it? Is it too late with Marta and whatnot?
If you can, put me down. I wanna be there. Heck, I thought ya'll shot last weekend and I was totally bummed 'cause I could have come but thought I was too late to get on that list.

Ok here is one to throw in the loop for you. Maybe when we get done with Jackson Street Bridge we can go to the 72nd floor of the Westin. They have an observation deck and I just talked to them on the phone. $5 per person and no movie cameras are allowed and that is all. We can go there and take photos for a few minutes if you guys wish.
Observation Deck Closes at 10 pm

Hey Kevin, I don't suppose you'd like to bring one of those many extra cameras you have too? ;-) I promised my other half he could have main use of my camera being that I've already shot most of that stuff (several times) :-)
I'll promise to go easy on the old patootie! ;-)
Speaking of other halfs, is your better half coming along? I hope she's doing well.

Cindee won't be along this time but I will bring the other bodies with me (camera bodies, mind you) and you're welcome to one. I'll prolly shoot the 1Ds and 30D just to compare how they handle long exposures like that. I expect the 30D to perform well but worry 'bout the 1Ds. I'm interested to see if I can make a nice poster-sized print of the skyline to hang up in the hallway headed to the studio.

| Yea!!! More people I haven't met. Maybe if I get in really good with Kevin, he'll let me tag along one day on a model shoot like he has with Jen. =0) I'm looking forward to this weekend. And I'm down with going to Westin. And since I just got paid, I can help out that slacker Rex with some food money. =0P |

Ok because this is a big crowd. I want to remind everyone and will do so again once we meet. We are allowed to shoot from Marta's Garson Deck. With this priviledge we have agreed not to take photos of ANYTHING to do with Marta's transit system. This is an excellent place to shoot and we have now formed a small reationship with this contact through Marta and I don't want to hurt that and not be able to shoot from that site again. So please remember we are NOT allowed to shoot anything involving Marta's Transit System and we are in no way to interfere with Marta operations.
Just a friendly reminder.

We need to respect her kindness. Before I asked for permission, I was hasseled for close to an hour by MARTA police late one evening, and that was in my paramedic uniform.
