So I guess I shouldn't be happy that I am bouncing between 5.3 and 5.6....I thought my pic was good...and 5.6 would be my best ever. I would hope it would be a light hearted challenge, but with that in mind the photos should have all been light hearted. Some unique-light hearted photos are going to suffer to the gorgeous conquering landscape photos. I regret that kind of voting. |
I'll clarify at least how I voted for this one: no one got less than a 5, since everything was deemed to meet the challenge from the start and I just didn't feel like anyone should receive a bad score in this one. However, if you took a very serious photo, like a landscape, you got a serious vote - you seemed to want it. But if you just let it go and had fun with it, with Steve brushes, wanted posters, etc. etc. etc., then I voted with my amusement level more than on the overall quality, a kudos for giving in to the silliness. I think this put landscapes and other "serious" photos on a rather even playing field with the more lighthearted fare.

| let me clarify....I didn't mean to sound antagonistic if I did....My photos are NOT great. But the ones I do are always directly on topic...even if I took a landscape it wouldn't compare....but anyways, I got some great comments though, which is what I like!! |

only been on the website a few days and this is my first challenge. i'm not sure what a good score would be but i'm really pleased with this so far. besides, it's fun to be able to watch my score go up and down as the votes come in. this is way more fun than i thought it would be!

I would say 5,7879 is a good score, specially for a first entry although few of the latest ribbon winnars have been with a first entry!!

I wonder if commenters are just afraid to offend people given the nature of the challenge. Though the two comments I got were exactly the feedback I was hoping to get with my really awful shot ;)
