Anybody installed the free update 7.01? I was chatting with goodman and she had some adjustments that I don't have on my toolbar, so I figure maybe she has a newer version than I.

The basic 7.0 does not have a photo filter adjustment, a highlights and shadow adjustment, and hers does. Anybody know what's up with that??

Are you sure she's on PS7? that is 2 versions ago.

You should be OK with the update, but I can not tell you if it will add those features. Probably not.

Weird, cause we were chatting online (I can't ask her now cause of the time difference) and she kept referring to those two features and I said that I didn't have them, so she took a photo of her actual screen and sent it to me and there it was. Hmmmmmmmm

I'm pretty sure she's got something newer than 7.0.1; i just opened 7.0.1 and it seems to have neither, which matches with my recollection. I verified that they both do appear in CS, however.

Shadow/highlight wasn't available until CS.

there were minor bug changes in 7.0.1 they also fixed where users who owned a pirate copy of the software couldn't use the app anymore with the distributed key..

the major change to 7.0.1 was they fixed the alpha channel when saving which was a big bonus for me (i do 3D modeling - and i had to hack the alpha to get it to work)
