hey im nick and this is my face,
Its the first time ive taken a self portrait with artificial light so i would love some advice on what i did wrong and what i did right. i just wanted to post something pretty much straight from the camera.
simply me in my garage with a bed lamp and some wierd kinda bag to difuse the light.
feel free to be honest.

thanks for your comments Timfythetoo, i agree that my whole chin should be in the frame on the larger crop which is what made me try the tighter one. interesting what you said about the burning on the right side because i did burn a little but just got a new computer so my monitor may be off because i cant see it.

Nick...as promised I have uploaded 3 images in my portfolio for you to view. Now I am not going to steal your thread so I won't link them but I will tell you their titles. That way people can't just click on them, they have to go out of there way if they want to see them. LOL!!
1 - The three of them.
2 - Face the facts.
3 - All in a line.
I hope this helps you understand what I was trying to say.
