Here's my first real attempt at YouTube. And a little story about me trying to fix my camera.
Hear me talk! :-p

The quality of the video recording was excellent. Not the most exciting video but I'm sure you'll make all the ladies swoon with that accent ;) |

boooooooooooo to superglue. Don't you know what a mans tool is??? It's duct tape. Not to mention you should have used a chip bag not a yogart container. Just ask Red Green and I'm sure he'll do a tv show on it. |

John, I'd worry just a bit about that if I were you...
Cool video - very good quality, and quite humourous, too! |

I'd never really thought about my accent before, it always sounds strange hearing yourself on tape.
I was really pleased with the video quality. It took a few tries to figure out what works best with YouTube. The setup I used was;
Recorded the video on a Sony DV Handycam, then Camcorder -> Firewire to my PC to capture the AVI file.
The I took the AVI file into Roxio Videowave and chopped out the bits I didn't need, and added the title. And finally (this is the important part, to keep the quality decent) - output it as 'DivX Good Quality' (320x240 30fps with mp3 audio). YouTube likes these settings. Using this method, it started out as a 450Mb avi file, and ends up as a 10Mb avi file.
I'll think of something more interesting to talk about tomorrow. I might even record a special message for deapee. Thanks for watching!

Puts me in the mind of the interview segments of "The Office".
Nicely done.
Nick-on. In the states we say Ny-Kon.

That was actually pretty entertaining! - Either that or I've been watching too much Big Brother. Loved your student-logic behind how to get a drink of water.
God knows what state your stomach is in from eating these wacky food combinations though.... ;-) I've subscribed, so keep them coming! |
