The other night I happened onto a public garden with some very interesting evening light. I returned a couple of nights later, with an aspiring model and my camera, to see if there was enough light to shoot some portraits. I ended up shooting the entire set at f/2.8, 1/60sec, and ISO 200-400. I had to clean up the color noise with a bit of noise ninja and then increases the contrast across the skin tones to add a little depth. I'm posting a couple of the results here to see if you think they look over processed?


I took a completely different approach to the color noise for this image. Rather than polishing with noise reduction, I went straight to B&W so the color noise looks more like traditional film grain.

Well I'm not very good at technicals, but I think these look great.. I love this one . My opinion on the processing is that you can see the processing that has been done, but I dont think it is over done, But saying that you are my favourite photographer on this site(besides my hubby, of course) so I may be a little bias ;)
