I was recently hired to make a 16x24 collage for a friend. I spent about 3 hours making it, and when I was done I saved it as a JPEG and uploaded it to Mpix. I then went to order a 16x24 print of it. When I get to the page where you select the size print you want, it only gives me the option of ordering up to an 11x14. I then went back to the file on my computer to make sure it was in fact 16x24, and it was. I am stumped as to why MPIX won't let me order this size. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I reeeallyyy don't want to have to redo the entire thing. Thanks.

I think MPIX requires that you have a certain DPI available for any given file. I know on DPC Prints you have to have at least 150 DPI available. When you go to resize, change the DPI value to at least 150. I'd don't have the MPIX requirements in front of me, so you should probably check with them, or call their customer service when they are open. |

i just ordered 5 prints from MPIX for the first time, got them today and they were all 16x24 or larger. And um, they are fantastic. No complaints. My advice to you would be write them a message. They are great absolutely with customer service and respond very timely. Try that avenue...

I just looked, minimum resolution is 100 DPI. Check your resize settings, sometimes programs default to 72dpi because so many people work with web sizes. |

The problem was the DPI. Default in photoshop was 72, and I forgot to look and change it. I bumped it up to 150 and re-uploaded it to MPIX and problem solved. On my screen there is no visible loss in quality. I wanted to ask if I had to worry about visible loss of quality in the print. Thanks |
