| I know it's old, but I can buy one second hand for about 300 dollars, would you do it? |

I'm a toolbox junkie, the more stuff in the toolbox, the more stuff I can do. Provided that the lens is still intact, no cracks, scratches, and it still takes decent photo's, I'd say go for it, since you don't have range above 200 right now.
That's all assuming that you've got the $300 or so... |

| Thanks for the advice all, does any of you actually have experience with this old lens? It uses an old fashioned AF system and a push-pull zoom, so I would like to know how it 'feels'. Also, will the 5.6 aperture be a problem, even with 800 and 1600 ISO? |
