If you have cats, you have a sandbox, right?
I've been keeping ours in the basement, but that's now my studio and I want to move it (been in a corner of the dining room for week wheilI repainted the basement floor).
I like seeing my cats more as they're not living in the basement as much, but the cat box in the dining room is not, umm, working too well.
Where do you keep yor sandbox? |

in the laundry room, having a cover over it helps keep the litter in. |

i keep mine in my room until they get dexterous enought to jump off the window, that way, they could go outside. I never had any problems with standing on turd either, that's why i love cats, so clean.

Why not teach the cat how to use the toilet?
Read about in 'Stories from the Vinyl Cafe'. Hilarious.

In the master bathroom....though unfortunately the only good place is right next to the toilet. And our cats have a tendency to kick litter EVERYWHERE! |

In the little alcove from the living room to my bedroom. I do have to vacuum the litter a bit more than when it was in the second bathroom. |

They really do. I promise:) In fact I have one cat who is so proud that she waits until we go outside so that she can do it right in front of us.
They stay in our yard 99% of the time, and I have also supplied them with lots of sand which they find preferential to the hard soil of our neighbor's yards. Besides, it never stays around for more than an hour or two. The dung beetles carry it right off. TMI?;)
If you saw where I live, you wouldn't be sorry for my neighbors; you'd feel sorry for me;)

One in the laundry room, one in the garage. Cat doors to allow the cats free access but not the dogs. |
