I'm ISP just went to 7Mb upload and 512k downloads.
In my preference I have it set to
Image Preferences
5 - images Per Row
100 - Rows per page
That way when I go to Photos > Browse it loads 500 thumbnail images. In IE you can see the countdown at the bottom of pages as images load (500,499,...2,1,0).
Could someone set there preferences the same and see how long it takes to load 500 thumbnails.
Mine loads in 9 seconds. I'm trying to compare to see if my speed is higher.

I counted about 20 seconds. I have cable. I could pay a bit more for faster speeds, but this does the job fine. |
