I got my camera sometime in April/May I think and I think the sensor needs cleaning already...does this seem right? I am very careful with my camera and don't swap lenses outdoors.

I am scared to do it.

AaaaHHHHHHH...

Support please!!

Ha! My 30D came from the factory with 3 rather impressive spots. I'm not brave enough to clean mine, they go off to the certified service center (20 mins from my house) twice a year for cleaning ($65/camera)

Lol! Mine needed cleaning after a week! You probably have needed to clean it for a while, you just hadn´t noticed earlier.

Just let it go, not worth the worry really, every camera will get dust eventually no matter what you do, even the ones that don´t have interchangeable lenses too as p&s cameras usually aren´t that weatherproof. At least with a DSRL you can take the lens of and clean it easily so look at the bright side :)

Ooooooh yes, I have her message. Been busy today, but have it opened waiting for me to respond to it (giggle). The service center near here is in Jax and is:
Southern Photo Technical Service Incorporated (904) 398-7577 3247 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL

Please tell Crystal I will be sending a detail answer to her questions as soon as I've finished cooking dinner and getting the kids ready for tomorrow.
