I wish there could be a ''next'' button when you want the view a whole catagory of images.
You have to click back and forth to first page to get to the next photo. Frustrating for sure.
Anyone else feel this way?

So ... has this made it to the top of the most requested suggestion for navigation of images? :)

Seriously, it is a good idea and has been suggested many times -- for the challenge entries, portfolio images (including folders) and as you suggest for browsing the catagories.
