I am a "power user" on Smugmug. If someone buys a print, are you compensated? I know that as a pro user you can set your own price. However, it does not say what happens when someone registered as a power user sells a print.

no you don't get anything if you are just a power user. You must be pro and price your prints over what smugmug charges

So as a regular user or a power user...the general public can order a print from your portfolio w/o you being rewarded?

I checked the site before this post but couldn't find if you could "opt out" of letting pictures be sold. Is there a way to "not have your pics be sold"?

Yes if you don't want to sell prints make sure the option of "printable" is set to NO.

And this can be found in the customize gallery section of each gallery.

I have done it for my images of Braves players.

I would like the exact same operability (setup various shoot sites) and the ability to set my own price for photos ordered. Does anyone know of a site to do this that is less than the $150/year of Smug Mug? What other options are there? Thanks.

I don't know if there are other optins as far as fully customizable and unlimtied downloads.

some here have pbase which is limited

$150/year is cheap though
